Cuddy View Interactive Version ]

The "cuddy" is the attic space over the Northwest (Garden) Portico. It is believed to have been used primarily for storage, but at least two of Jefferson's adult granddaughters used it as a hideaway for reading and writing letters.

Please Note: Firecodes prevent visitors from touring the second and third floors of the house, including the Dome Room.
